Elcias has an 11 hectare farm, some of which is dedicated woodland reserve. He was one of the first farmers from Colombia to receive the 90+ cupping score for coffee from his 50,000 trees. He uses dry fermentation for 26 hours before a traditional wet pulping and a 10-15 day drying process before going to the mill.
