Located in the Gedeo Zone in Yirgacheffe, Chelebesa is from one of the most famous coffee producing areas in Ethiopia. With copious amounts of false banana plants, the coffee cherries experience near perfect growing conditions, and this is reflected in the quality of the cup.

In 2019, SNAP coffee built their first wet mill in the local village and installed ceramic fermentation tanks. Together, this investment in infrastructure has enabled the coffees of this area to shine even more, so much so, they are frequently competition winning. This lot is comprised of cherries from around 500 smallholder farmers who are fortunate to have wonderful soil to grow in.

Expect notes of melon, stonefruit and a bergamot finish.
