And we're bringing the sunshine this June with our latest coffee, the vibrant El Progreso form Alejandro Medina in Colombia. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"356\" data-start=\"20\"\u003eCoffee runs deep in the Medina family. In the village of El Pantano, Timaná, Alejandro is carrying forward a legacy that stretches back three generations. After the passing of his father four years ago, Alejandro stepped in to manage Finca El Progreso, continuing the work started by his grandparents and nurtured by his parents.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"971\" data-start=\"650\"\u003eFinca El Progreso spans eight hectares and is planted primarily with Colombia and Castillo varieties. Through careful soil management, targeted fertilisation, preventative crop care and selective cherry picking, Alejandro focuses on producing high-quality coffee while maintaining the health and productivity of the farm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"1521\" data-start=\"1371\"\u003eFor this naturally processed lot, only fully ripe cherries are selected at harvest before being carefully sorted to create a clean and consistent lot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"1849\" data-start=\"1523\"\u003eThe coffee then undergoes a controlled whole-cherry fermentation, allowing the fruit's natural sugars and acidity to develop complexity and sweetness in the cup.
