Process: Natural
Notes: Bergamot, Jasmine, Orange Wine
Grown in the high regions of Gedeb, Ethiopia, Tanash Girme’s coffee is a small microlot conscientiously farmed on a small plot of 1.9 hectares. After she harvests her small and exclusive coffee, it is dried on raised patio beds under the shade of African Teak and Acacia trees for around 18 days. The result is a sparkling natural coffee that is somehow both unusually bold and delicate.
We’re really excited to showcase yet another fantastic Ethiopian coffee and it’s actually coincidental that they’re all coming from female farmers. Our cupping selection criteria had no gender agenda from this origin, but the results show what an excellent job women are doing here. Tanash’s coffee will shine both on espresso and filter, so pour as your prefer and we hope you enjoy it as much as we are on our own bar. If you’re nearby, expect to find it on filter on our bar through the month of October.
